Looking Up Roofing LLC is a great team of experienced roofers that understand how its done. Plus the coordinator, Lisa, is a perfect communicator for working quotes and making choices. She is always on the job. Our metal roof and two very big sky lights were removed, and a new Owens Corning Asphalt shingled roof was completed in one day. And this was all done on a floating home where delivery of materials and disposing of the old metal roof was a long walk from the parking lot down to the main dock. I had come across Looking Up Roofing, LLC while searching for local contractor reviews. Every review of theirs I found was very positive, so I was planning on reaching out to them. They beat me to it by contacting me first since they had gotten my name from searching on Angi. We scheduled an inspection right away and Lisa and Johnny showed up a few days later. I instantly got a good feeling that they cared about our situation. Lisa gave me a fast and fair quote. As I felt I needed to secure one more quote to complete my 3 quote comparison, Lisa kept in touch with follow ups along the way. I ultimately chose Looking Up because of their follow through and they walked me through the process, materials, and time frame. We scheduled the installation for the next dry day and they did our small house in one day as promised. They sent me pics and vids of our roof before and after the process, they did a great job! My wife said I should take estimates from 3 or 4 roofers before I decided on one, so I took 8. Most of the inspection/estimate visits consisted of the vendor looking at my roof for about 10% of the time and the other 90% were spent trying to make a sale and sign me up. The estimate from Looking Up was different, they spent almost the whole time making a very thorough and detailed inspection, and noticed a lot that the others had overlooked. As they were one of the 2 or 3 that were price competitive, the choice was easy, and as it turned out, the choice was the right one. I had opted for a moderate price shingle, and when they showed up for the job, they had the premium shingle on their truck. They informed me that had made a good deal with their supplier, and that I would get the better material for no extra cost. The job went smoothly, with great attention to detail, and concern for a clean and picked-up site at completion. Suggestions were made about upgrading some of the plywood which should be replaced and I agreed, their attention to detail was appreciated. My project was completed on time, on budget, and in an excellent craftsman-like manner. Could not recommend them more highly to anyone considering a roofing project. Thank you, Looking Up…..
